BOOKING, PAYMENT, AMENDMENT, CANCELLATION, TERMS, INSURANCE, PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

1. TICKET BOOKING TERMS
(1.1) These Booking and Payment Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to bookings and tickets (collectively “Tickets”) made through the Sunlines (“Service Provider”) call center, Internet, mobile application and travel agent.
(1.2) Booking of a trip and payment in whole or in part for a Ticket shall be deemed to be a binding contract between the Service Provider and the Buyer of the Ticket (hereinafter referred to as the individual purchasing the Ticket or the person responsible for the Group
(1.3) These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all bookings of services provided by the Service Provider.
(1.4) Sales of Tickets for Special and / or Special Offers and Groups venues (hereinafter: Special Trips) are subject to following exceptions in the General Terms and Conditions:
(1.4.1) Special trip tickets are not refundable, cancellation is not allowed.
(1.4.2) Tickets for Special trips may be modified according to a case-by-case agreement.
(1.5) Tickets may be booked and paid for through the Service Provider’s internet or mobile phone environment or at a travel company.
(1.6) Tickets can be changed and canceled by writing to the Service Provider’s office at email@example.com or at the travel agent where the reservation was made.
(1.7) Ticket cannot be changed or canceled in internet or mobile phone environment.
(1.8) Special requests:
(1.8.1) For passengers with special needs, the Service Provider must be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
(1.8.2) Special requests to the menu must be notified to the Service Provider at least 3 working days prior to the trip.
(1.8) Tickets shall be issued only in electronic form by e-mail to the e-mail address indicated by the Buyer.
2. PAYMENT FOR THE TICKET
(2.1) The Service Provider can pay for the Ticket immediately upon booking in the Internet and mobile phone environment. An automatic ticket and invoice will be issued to the customer in case of online payment. The customer can order the payment by bank transfer. Please note – when ordering an invoice, a handling fee will be added to the ticket price. The payment currency for the tickets is Euro (€). In the online environment, you can pay for your tickets with bank links or most common credit cards.
(2.2) Bookings made at the sales agent, call center or travel agent of the Service Provider shall be charged for the reservation on the basis of the invoice submitted and upon the terms and conditions provided.
(2.3) Package Travel is subject to conditions different from these Terms and Conditions and will be published together with the Package Offer. The Package Travel Agreement shall enter into force upon payment by the Buyer of a prepayment or a letter of guarantee in accordance with the booking and payment terms provided for the Package Travel.
(2.4) If the Ticket includes a service provided by a third party affiliated with the Service Provider, the partner’s booking and payment terms may apply.
3. CHANGE OF TICKET
(3.1) Modification of a purchased Ticket includes a change in the Passenger Transport Services (including direction and / or itinerary, date or time of departure, additional services, onboard services).
(3.2) Changing personal data in the Ticket (name, contact) is not a Change of the Ticket.
(3.3) Upon changing the passenger transport services, the Buyer shall pay a contractual penalty under these Terms and Conditions. In the case of services provided by third parties who are partners of the Service Provider, the Penalty established by the third parties shall apply.
(3.4) The ticket may be changed at any time if the service is paid for in accordance with the price list of the Service Provider. When changing the price of the passenger transport service, the price shall be the difference between the price of the originally purchased services and the services modified by the reservation or the price refunded and the applicable Penalty in accordance with paragraphs 3.6 and 3.7 of this section.
(3.5) If the Ticket is changed more than 30 days prior to the departure of the Trip, the Penalty shall not apply.
(3.6) The contractual penalty shall be applied as follows:
(3.6.1) if the Ticket is changed 30 days to 48 hours before the departure of the trip and the changed Ticket is cheaper, a penalty of 5% of the total cost of the Ticket will be withheld and a refund of the remaining balance;
(3.6.2) if changes are made to the Ticket less than 48 hours prior to departure and the changed Ticket is cheaper, the difference between the price of the originally purchased Ticket and the changed Ticket shall be withheld by the Penalty;
(3.7) If the ticket is changed for additional services less than 48 hours before departure, the cost of the additional services will be withheld.
4. CANCELLATION OF THE TICKET
(4.1) The Service Provider shall cancel the Ticket that has not been paid for by the due date.
(4.2) In the event of cancellation of the Ticket, a Penalty shall be required under these Conditions. Services provided by third parties shall be subject to liquidated damages established by them.
(4.3) Upon cancellation of the Ticket, the amount paid for the Ticket, less the Penalty, shall be refunded to the same bank account from which the Ticket was paid. Refund will occur in 20 days. The rates and conditions of the liquidated damages are listed in clauses 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7
(4.4) If the Ticket is canceled more than 30 days before the departure of the Trip, the Penalty shall not apply.
(4.5) The contractual penalty shall be applied as follows:
(4.5.1) In the event of cancellation of the Ticket 30 days to 9 days prior to the departure of the Trip, a penalty of 10% of the total Ticket Cost shall be applied;
(4.5.2) If the Ticket is canceled 9 days to 48 hours before the departure, a penalty of 35% of the total cost of the Ticket shall be withheld;
(4.5.3) If the Ticket is canceled less than 48 hours before the departure, 100% of the total cost of the Ticket will be withheld as a penalty.
(4.6) Non-appearance on the trip is excusable for reasons of force majeure and must be proved by the Buyer of the Ticket. The Service Provider shall evaluate the circumstances of force majeure and the evidence thereof. If force majeure is proven, the Ticket Buyer will be refunded the amount paid for the Ticket and no Penalty will be applied.
(4.7) The Buyer of the Ticket may leave the amount paid for the Ticket as a prepayment for the Service Provider’s future services.
5. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE TRIP AND TICKET SALES
(5.1) SHIP SAFETY
(5.1.1.) It is prohibited to bring drinks and meals on board for consumption. Smoking on board shall take place only in designated areas. Shoes with needle heels are not recommended for sea voyages. Pets are allowed under the strict responsibility of the pet owner and the animal must not move freely.
(5.1.2.) All persons on board are required to comply with the safety requirements and the master’s instructions. Spontaneous actions or irregularities are strictly at your own risk and may result in disqualification. In the event of cancellation, the Ticket will not be reimbursed.
(5.1.3.) The captain has the right to change the schedule according to the weather and other unforeseen circumstances that may affect the safety of the trip. The cost of the ticket will not be compensated for safety changes.
(5.1.4.) Passengers under 18 years of age: Children under 18 years of age are not permitted on a cruise ship without an adult escort. An adult is considered to be 18 years of age. A child group must have at least 1 adult companion for every 4 children.
(5.1.5.) Attention! Participation in shipping is voluntary and strictly at your own risk.
(5.2) FEES AND SERVICES
(5.2.1.) The Service Provider has the right to change the price list at any time. If you have booked a trip but have not yet paid, the Service Provider guarantees the validity of the price list during the period of the quotation or invoice.
(5.2.2.) The Service Provider’s products are sold through various agents and the denominations of the price lists used on them cannot always be verified. The Service Provider reserves the right not to accept a price different from the price set by the Service Provider.
(5.3.1.) The liability of the Contractor shall be governed by the Sea Transport Regulations and the Athens Convention 1974 and its Annexes. The ticket buyer and his / her group are insured in accordance with the Athens Convention.
(5.3.2.) The Service Provider shall not be liable for the personal belongings and assets of the Buyer of the Ticket and his / her group unless they have been deposited with the Service Provider in a responsible deposit.
(5.3.3.) The ticket purchaser (the person responsible for the group rental of the group ticket or the entire ship) is fully responsible for the activities of the group he represents, including: undertakes to fully compensate for the material damage caused to the Service Provider.
(5.4) PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
(5.4.1.) The personal data collected for processing the Buyer’s order is strictly for internal use.
(5.4.2.) If the Buyer of the Ticket has given their consent, the Service Provider has the right to use the contact details of the Buyer to post the newsletter.
(5.4.3.) We confirm that Buyer Personal Data will not be disclosed to third parties for purposes other than to fulfill the order.
(5.4.4.) Buyer’s financial data is not stored on the Service Provider’s servers.
